When Broken Hearts

You told me / Something yesterday
Wouldn’t listen / Couldn’t walk away
But you can’t take it back / I’ve fallen through that crack
And in your eyes I see that you it’s too late

Photograph / Found it in a drawer
We were laughing / But that was before
Already had my doubts / Now it turns me inside out
To realize that both of us need more

Waiting in the darkness / For my dreams to come
Do you come back to me / Or is it done
Can your read my mind / In the morning light
When broken hearts / cannot run

Stumbled on / Feelings left behind
You’re long gone  / Guess they must be mine
Well I suppose I should / Send them away for good
Can’t leave them here for someone else to find

Waiting in the darkness / For my dreams to come
Do you come back to me / Or is it done
Can your read my mind / In the morning light
When broken hearts / cannot run

Yeah when broken hearts / These broken hearts
Little broken hearts / Cannot run
